Malaysian plane
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-26510826
Flight MH370 departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 00:41 on Saturday (16:41 GMT Friday), and was due to arrive in Beijing at 06:30. Air traffic controllers lost contact at 01:30.
At a time as yet undisclosed, a relative reportedly managed to call one of the passengers, who was carrying a Singapore phone. Malaysia Airlines has repeatedly tried to call the same number but no ringtone has been heard.
Could it have been a terrorist attack?
The airline says it is not ruling out any theory while officials in the US, which is sending FBI investigators, say there is no evidence of such an attack yet.
The presence of two passengers with stolen passports is a breach of security, but could relate to illegal migration. John Magaw - a former under-secretary for the US Transport and Security Administration and former director of the US Secret Service - has told the BBC there were "quite a few people that do fly, especially in that part of the world, with improper identification or false identification".
When an Air India plane crashed in Mangalore in 2010 en route from Dubai, with the loss of 158 lives, as many as 10 fraudulent passports were recovered.

Music case studies
1. The Vamps
2011–12: Formation
In 2011, James McVey, who was already managed by Richard Rashman and Joe O'Neill of Prestige Managemen, wanted to form a band. He subsequently discovered Brad Simpson via YouTube. Simpson later became lead singer and together McVey and Simpson wrote songs towards the later months of 2011. In 2012, Simpson and McVey met Tristan Evans via Facebook. The trio then met Connor Ball via a mutual friend. In mid-2012, the band started uploading covers of other songs via their YouTube channel.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-2506271/The-Vamps-meet-social-superfans-propelling-top.html
The Vamps have taken that to a whole new level by recognising that the first fans they gained from their home-made YouTube demos (before they had a recording deal) could be the ultimate social-networking marketing tool. By treating their initial 200 followers as real friends (video-messaging them and generally treating them as ‘equals’), they created a new breed of superfan who would become instrumental in their subsequent success.
The Vamps started putting their demos (initially covers of artists such as Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift) on YouTube, their superfans have utilised social-networking sites to establish a growing army of followers. The band (all accomplished musicians and songwriters) believe those first superfans have played a huge part in helping their YouTube channel to gain over 24 million views and taking their debut single ‘Can We Dance’ straight to number two in the charts last month.
2. Carly Rae Jepsen

Jepson initially posted covers to songs, on her MySpace profile, on this site she began announcing details of her upcoming songs/albums. Following the steady appeal since her debut album, Canadian label 604 Records, co-founded by Jepsen's ongoing manager Jonathan Simkin, signed Jepsen to the label. Jepsen also began recording material for her sophomore album in 2011 with previous collaborators Josh Ramsay and Ryan Stewart. One of those songs, "Call Me Maybe", was chosen as the first single and released in Canada on September 21, 2011. In January 2012, dating pop singers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were in Canada for the holidays and heard the track on the mainstream radio. After they tweeted about it on their personal profiles, Jepsen instantly gained international attention. The EP, titled Curiosity, was released on February 14, 2012 in Canada, coinciding with her rising popularity on YouTube and social media sites.
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, alongside others created their own video, lisping the lyrics and posted the material on YouTube. Due to their millions of fans Carly Rae Jepson profile began to rise dramatically.
3. Boyce Avenue

In 2007, Boyce Avenue began posting videos of original music and covers of popular songs on YouTube. Many of these covers have over 10,000,000 views and have been released as digital EPs by 3 Peace Records. While producing the videos for YouTube, Boyce Avenue continued to create original material for their album, 'All You're Mean to Be', which was released on March 3, 2008. In January 2009, the band performed a stand-alone sold-out show in New York City at the Mercury Lounge. On October 2, 2009 WWE featured their single "Hear Me Now" in a video tribute to Eddie Guerrero on their decade of Smackdown show.
With their sights set on connecting with their online fan base, the band turned their attention to touring, playing four headlining shows in the Philippines. Shortly following this, the band began its first tour of the US.

Charles Leadbeater continued
Glossary.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1328057/Amsterdam-riot-police-clear-squatters-breaches-human-rights.html
This article explains how different ideas/opinions has led to a riot, but the argument is said to breach humans rights. Leadbeater's theory grasps the concept of sharing ideas, freedom and equality which this article covers.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/investing/article-2487710/Twitter-shares-Is-worth-investing-buy.html
This article shows how the Internet is overthrowing democracy. Leadbeater's theory examines democracy and its dominance against the Internet which this article explores.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2439485/Georgias-Sapelo-Island-community-slave-descendents-fight-tax-increase-threatens-homes.html
Leadbeater's theory also explores the idea of how opinions gather from one community, this article is an example of how one community is fighting back against the government.
Music distribution.
Carly Rae Jepson is an example of an artist who initially posted a music video on the Internet and went viral. However the link to the news article below explores how maybe distribution via the Internet is not such a great idea, which criticises Charles Leadbeater's idea.

The Vamps is another example of a pop group who started their career via the Internet, however for them it has worked out well, their first single entered the UK charts at number two. They are now involved in a competition whereby the audience will vote who they want on MTV brand list 2014. Results will be shown in February.

Criticisms.
Dystopian: an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one. The opposite of utopia.
Bradbury shows many of the ideals of a dystopian society. The three main ideals are:
1: Control of the media by government
2: The alteration of history for the governments benefit
3. Disposal of all those who refuse to accept the government's set of beliefs and follow them blindly
Example of dystopian theorist is...Graeme Turner
- Innovation: the action of process of creating/developing something new.
- Mass conversation: a talk, especially an informal one, between two or more people, in which news and ideas are exchanged.
- Creativity: the use of imagination or original ideas to create something; inventiveness.
- Utopian: modelled on or aiming for a state in which everything is perfect; idealistic
- Culture: the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
- Democracy: a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
- Freedom: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants.
- Equality: the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities.
- Capitalist: a person who uses their wealth to invest in trade and industry for profit in accordance with the principles of capitalism.
